What is Sublimation Printing?

Sublimation printing is a process that converts specialty inks into a gaseous state, allowing them to penetrate and become a permanent part of a fabric's material, rather than sitting on the surface. This infusion process produces high-quality, vivid images with smooth, long-lasting, soft-to-the-touch designs that won't crack, peel, or fade. Though it is primarily used on polyester or polymer-coated synthetic fabrics, it is possible to print bright, well-defined images. Numbers, letters, and graphics do not peel, wear off, or come out in the wash making this process ideal for custom sports apparel.
